Community Outreach
General Information:
IsleGO Missions has been taking teams to Jamaica since 1982! We work together with national pastors and partners in several different projects, including building Little Blue Houses for those needing shelter, food baskets for those needing food, children's ministry, visiting the elderly and homeless all in His name. Our ministry for over the past 35+ years there has been in St. Anns Parish on the north coast of Jamaica and God has opened the doors to new ministry every year since.
Additional Notes:
Your week there will include evangelism, Bible clubs for children, feeding the children in that village, working on housing for people in a squatter's village, taking food to homes where there is none, visiting a safe place for the homeless.
PROJECTS FOCUS: Evangelism, KidzMealz for the children, food for the hungry, Little Blue Houses for the homeless, visiting the sick, anti-trafficking, clean water.
Cost:
$995-$1,040 per person for a group of 12 or more: includes housing, meals, ground transportation, work and ministry project materials, fees, insurance, an IsleGO Missions Facilitator to accompany your team for the week, an IsleGO Missions t-shirt for each team member; does not include airfare, tips, one noon meal in town, day off activities, or souvenirs.
Housing & Meals:
Local villas with air-conditioned rooms, private bath, security, and meals prepared by local Jamaican cooks.
Transportation:
Local bus or van driven by professional drivers (left-hand side of the road).
Day Off:
Climb Dunn's River Falls, tubing the White River, sightseeing/shopping in Ocho Rios, snorkelling on the reef, or beach soccer.
